“Josh and Jake Harris welcome one and all to the new site for their father Capt. Phil. We hope the site gives the fans of Capt. Phil a chance to learn more about what the boys are doing, the future of the Cornelia Marie, the future of Josh and Jake on Deadliest Catch and all the goings on with the Harris Family.

The new site is powered by Captain's Reserve Coffee. Captain's Reserve is the coffee company started by Capt. Phil himself. Josh and Jake along with Capt. Phil's business partner Russ Herriott are re-launching the company with a new site and some exciting promotions and giveaways. So stay tuned.... “

Response:
We hoped the site would have given us more information on  the future of Josh and Jake on Deadliest Catch and all the goings on with the Harris Family. To be fair, it is duly noted that snippets of information were shared when the forum was updated. Last update, however, as August 1.

The fact that the new site is powered by Captain’s Reserve Coffee rings a loud warning siren. There is now no coffee, which in turn explains why there is no web person. That explains why there are no updates, no exciting promotions, and NO giveaways.

Scroll back in time just a bit. There WAS coffee and a thriving business. Everything was in place for it to continue. Stores had product, customers were buying Captain’s Reserve Coffee and wanting more. Clothing sales were doing well in the online store. The future looked bright.

The desire for control and power by an unqualified manager spoiled the dream. Taking control is one thing, however if one is inept for the task the entire structure crumbles.

From a rational point of view, it would have made total sense to work with the person who was already making the company a success. Logic would suggest a way could have been found to keep the company moving forward. Logic would suggest this competent employee should have been paid.
