Granted, trying to run a coffee company is definitely not racing. It seems, however, as though Mr. Herriott does not follow his own gameplan! He was right about one thing. Since Phil's passing the money he made for Captain's Reserve, Phil's nearly extinct coffee company, is zero, zilch, NADA! In this case he's worth exactly the same. Sums it up rather well.

ReplyDeleteRuss Herriott used a whole website with over 4,000 follower, posted the WARNING WARNING WARNING message and asked the site members to help "expose" someone who was incorrectly labeled a fraud. That is not ok.
People used their credit information to order a product that has not been shipped.. Is their info safe and can they cancel? There is no response to emails when people try to find out.
It’s not about “beating a dead horse”. If you were the target of any of this you would certainly feel differently. The blog reads more like an expose’ detailing how the public is being mislead by this person. In reading I see factual examples of issues and factual result of those issues.
You are right. Phil is gone. You are right; that cannot be changed. In reading this blog I see a path of destruction on many levels caused by Russ that stems far past the Harris Family. To say just go on with your life is very easy. For people who have been lied to or duped it’s not that simple. One went bankrupt. One was duped for $20,000. Others feel terrible for being used as pawns to badger and ridicule innocent people.
No vendetta, no dead horse. There are also choices. To just ignore it all and go on is like saying it was okay that these things happened. You can choose not to read. Many agree, many disagree. That’s the way the world operates. Some will agree to disagree. Such is life.
