Captain Phil Harris Merchandise for Sale! (kinda)

Did you click the link?  The store is offline.  Why?  Captain Phil's merchandise has been a good seller.  Even if the plan was to launch new designs, wouldn't it make sense to sell out the ones you already have?

For whatever reason, the Online Store link was disabled, Eskimo Joe's had the merchandise to sell but no links for customers to click to order.  Because of that, other venues have been posting the link whenever possible.  In that way, fans can buy the very last of Captain Phil's ORIGINAL merchandise.  There will be no more.  Proceeds from their sale goes to Phil's Estate after the distribution costs are satisfied.

Question:  WHY would a manager let a prospering coffee company fall apart and disable a link to sell merchandise that could bring in revenue?

Although there was no Captain's Reserve Coffee sold at the Corn Maze or at the Commercial Fishermen's Festival there was a very nice TShirt for sale.  There have been several people inquiring how they could order one.  Once again, people are being asked to wait a bit.

Question:  Why can't the shirt be sold via the shopping cart on the forum?  Why does another outlet have to be procured to sell this wonderful shirt?  Every sale missed is money that does not go toward Phil's estate. 

Does anyone see a pattern here?
